CSR and BERNAS joined hands for the first time to organise a Media Treasure Hunt event, SugaRice Rush, on March 2023. Fifty participants joined in this fun, entertaining, yet challenging event.

Commencing at CSR Batu Tiga, Shah Alam, the participants went through 5 checkpoints and performed specific activities before checking in at the Padi Central Hotel, Sekinchan, for a good rest. The flag-off ceremony began with registration, briefing and light breakfast for all participants before they headed off for the challenges at each checkpoint. Fun challenges include the honeycomb challenge inspired by Netflix’s Squid Game, wefie shotz, and the coconut bowling game. The checkpoints include Kampung Kuantan Kelip-Kelip Park, Laman Seni at Bukit Melawati, Kilang Beras BERNAS Seri Tiram Jaya, Taman AgroTeknologi Mardi and ended with a grand finale at Kilang Beras BERNAS Sekinchan. The participants enjoyed the arts, culture, and nature along the journey. This event provided a spectacular weekend and strengthened the bond between them. The day ended with a comforting hi-tea, a prize-giving ceremony and a relaxing stay at Padi Sentral Hotel.

The programme ended with a hearty breakfast the next day at the hotel before they returned to their respective homes, taking away beautiful memories with them.
